Q.1 Tell us about the work you are in charge of.

We use a wide variety of equipment to evaluate our products.

As part of the team, I evaluate automotive mechatronics products such as engine control systems. My main responsibilities are to prepare evaluation plans based on customer requirements and to conduct tests in accordance with the specified conditions. At the work site, I place particular emphasis on meeting evaluation deadlines and ensuring that all test conditions are accurate. Since my previous position also involved evaluating electrical components, I did not feel much anxiety about changing roles. One of the more difficult situations I encountered was when I needed to reproduce a past test but lacked sufficient information, which meant I spent considerable time searching old documents. I also contacted people who had been involved at the time, and by gathering information from them I was able to complete the work within the deadline. One of the most enjoyable aspects of evaluation work is the opportunity to use a wide variety of equipment, including power-related devices and EMC (noise) testing instruments. When using equipment for the first time, I ask experienced colleagues how to operate it and then carefully study both the manuals and the device itself. Even senior staff readily answer my questions, making it a very good learning environment. Before long, I often find that I have mastered the equipment and understand it better than anyone else.

Q.2 What were the circumstances of you joining the company, and how do you spend your days off?

I could clearly visualize myself working on the project I would be assigned to

I was introduced to Seedea by a career agent. During the interview process, I was able to confirm in detail the project I would be assigned to after joining, which gave me a sense of reassurance. I already had a positive impression of the client company where the project would take place, and being able to clearly imagine myself working there as a Seedea engineer ultimately convinced me to join. Because Seedea engineers often work at client sites, I also spend most of my time on site. The team members there are very friendly, and the atmosphere makes it easy to consult with others involved in the project about work-related matters. Now in my fourth year, having become accustomed to both the job and the environment, I focus fully on my work during the week and enjoy my personal time on weekends. My hobbies include visiting temples and exploring historical ruins, so I refresh myself by stepping into a world completely separate from work.

Q.3 What are your future goals?

Becoming a reliable engineer who can handle all aspects of evaluation work

Ultimately, I would like to be entrusted not only with my own assignments but with all evaluation-related operations. Up to now, I have focused on improving the accuracy and quality of my individual work. Going forward, I want to broaden my role by thinking proactively about how I can expand my responsibilities while continuing to address the tasks in front of me. The first step is to build trust with clients through each evaluation I conduct. As one of Seedea's engineers, I hope to accumulate achievements that will contribute to our clients' business.
